Yann is the Greymanes' eyes and ears, a master archer and tracker who grew up alongside Kliff in the streets of Pailune. Where Kliff leads the charge, Yann ensures the group is never caught off guard. His quiet demeanor hides a sharp wit and a deep understanding of the wilderness. Yann has mapped more of Pywel than perhaps anyone alive, and his knowledge of the terrain has saved the group countless times. He struggles with the weight of responsibility, often second-guessing whether his warnings came soon enough.
