The Reed Devil is the first real boss you'll face in Crimson Desert. You encounter it during the "End of Greed" quest in Chapter 3 while tracking it through Hernand using a lantern toward the Mountain of Frozen Souls. The fight takes place in Reedwind Valley, a wide open arena surrounded by flowing grass. Don't let the pretty scenery fool you, this thing is fast, aggressive, and will test everything you've learned up to this point. It serves as a major gear and skill check for your early-game progression.
